COLLAGEN PEPTIDES GELITA® - COLLAGEN PROTEIN, which contributes to maintenance of normal bones. Collagen is a fibrous protein, collagen peptides Gelita® are enzymatically split fragments of collagen which creates bodies of all animals. Collagen represents 30 % of all body proteins, represents 70 % of joint cartilages dry basis, has a great importance for a structure and integrity of our bodies. It does not occur in plants, it is natural part of locomotor system, bones, cartilages and joints, and it determines mechanical properties of cartilages, primarily their firmness and elasticity.

GLUCOSAMINE SULPHATE is a part of macromolecules creating amorphous component of extracellular matrix of cartilages, it contains organically bound sulphur.

CHODROITIN SULPHATE is a natural part of elastic extracellular matrix of cartilage and connective tissues; it occurs in cartilages, bones, cornea, skin and arteria walls. It contains organically bound sulphur.

MSM contains organically bound sulphur, which is present in collagen cross-links. These disulfide bonds are responsible for firmness and stability of collagen molecules. 

CALCIUM – contributes to maintenance of normal bones and teeth and normal function of muscles.

MAGNESIUM – contributes to normal protein synthesis, contributes to maintenance of normal bones and teeth and normal function of muscles.

MANGAN - contributes to maintaining normal connective tissues and helps protect cells from oxidative stress - an antioxidant.

COPPER – contributes to maintenance of normal connective tissues and to protection of cells from oxidative stress – antioxidant.

VITAMIN C – contributes to a normal formation of collagen for normal function of bones and cartilages and contributes to protection of cells from oxidative stress – antioxidant.

VITAMIN B6 - contributes to normal metabolism.

DOSAGE:
Powdery drink:
Adults and children from 12 years: 12 g - 1 measuring scoop once a day
Children from 3 to 12 years old: 5g - less than 0.5 measuring scoop once a day

Capsules:
Adults and children from 12 years: 9 capsules oncee a day, or 3 capsules 3 times a day.
Children from 3 to 12 years old: 4 capsules once a day or  2capsule 2 times a day

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
​Take the preparation for 2 or 3 month. Treatment is possible to repeat three times a year. Do not interrupt ongoing treatment. CONTINUOUS ADMINISTRATION IS POSSIBLE.

Cartilage is created by 70 % of water bound in a gel of proteoglycans kept in the collagen fibers net. Therefore an adequate fluid intake is important. 0,03 l of water per a kilogram of a man´s weight is optimum for hydration of joint cartilages.

During a year you can alternate the Geladrink® preparations according to your condition and needs of your joints.
